Preferences

The Preferences dialog is where you configure how the Finsyte Add-In behaves. Open it from Help > Preferences in the Finsyte ribbon. Each item below is a pane on the left-hand side of that single dialog — select a pane to view its settings.

Note: Easily restore preferences to default by clicking the button Reset to Default.

Preference Panes

Tree OptionsAccount grouping and outline levels for Standard Report Templates, plus the Trial Balance Cumulative Translation Adjustment.
CachingIn-memory caching of function values and results, and how long cached items are kept.
Summary CachePrecompute closed-period balances into a local database for dramatically faster balance sheet queries.
Template ParametersWhich optional filter parameters and custom segments appear in Standard Report Templates.
Custom SegmentsSet up which custom segments are available in lists, dropdowns, and function arguments.
Saved Search FiltersRegister NetSuite saved searches as Excel functions with configurable filter parameters.
Drilldown OptionsWhich columns appear in drill-down results and the order they appear in.
Aging OptionsTime buckets and settings used by the Aging Summary.
AdvancedRelease channel, request concurrency and batching, log level, and other advanced settings.
Dropdown DisplayControl which column is shown in the Subsidiary, Account, Class, Department, Location, Item, and Entity dropdowns and Range functions.
List Refresh OptionsWhich lists refresh with Refresh Data > List Data, and per-list record limits.
Journal Entry FieldsManage which custom segments and custom fields are available in the Journal Entry template.
Relative PeriodsAdd dynamic <Current> and offset options to the Fiscal Year and Period Number dropdowns.
SuiteApp DeployView SuiteApp deployment status and deploy the Finsyte SuiteApp directly from Preferences.
